Pi Day!

Pi Day is celebrated worldwide on 3-14, to honor the first three digits of the mathematical constant, π (pi). It has grown from a celebration primarily within the math and science community to a fun day to honor the irrational number with round foods, especially pie!
With so many types of pie consumed around the world, there is sure to be one to satisfy any palate. Whether you choose to celebrate with a savory or sweet option, pies can contain a surprising amount of saturated fat, sugar, salt, and calories. While none of these are unhealthy in moderation, eating a large amount of one or several of these could leave you with an upset stomach or sugar crash. Here are some healthier alternatives to help you celebrate.
