National Haiku Day
Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 3 lines. The structure of a haiku is based on syllables: 1st and 3rd line have 5 syllables and the middle/2nd line has 7 syllables. These lines do not have to rhyme, which makes this form of poetry so popular and widely celebrated on this day!
Our staff thought it would be great to celebrate this poetic day by writing some of our own. (What’s life without some healthy creativity and fun?) Enjoy!
